LIT FROM WITHIN

“For some time I had been wanting to make a short film about my friend, the glass artist Anthony Stern” says Sadia.

“Anthony had worked as an experimental film maker in the 1960’s and he is fond of saying that he has a fascination with both film and glass as materials through which light passes. This is a fascination I share, and I wanted to investigate the place where these two mediums meet, and to see how this was reflected in Anthony’s journey.”

Anthony is best known for his collaborations with the avant-garde documentary film maker Peter Whitehead.
